NATIONAL GIRL CHILD DAY

Ever since 2008, the date of January 24 is celebrated as the National Girl Child Day in India every year. The objective of the day is to spread awareness among the public about inequities faced by girls in Indian society, to promote awareness about the rights of the girl child and the importance of female education, health, and nutrition.The day this year was celebrated with events and programs in association with an NGO parijat academy . Our students participated in various activities such as awarness programm in health, hygiene , nutrition and free education. They also enlighted the girls about the govt. schemes and hoe to avail them. Also gifted them with some small articles .
